The Christmas market in Old Town offers a unique Christmas experience in the city’s picturesque alleys. In addition, the Mäster Olofsgården Theater Company presents a Living Advent Calendar every day from December 1 to December 23 at 6:15 p.m. At each window opening, theater performances and singing take place in various windows or at locations around Old Town, creating a magical atmosphere in the neighborhood. Visitors can also follow the window openings digitally.

The items are sold directly by students from the city’s schools who run Young Enterprise (UF) companies, where they’ve created their own products throughout the year.

With over 400 participating companies, this is Sweden’s largest Christmas market, where young entrepreneurs showcase their dedication and creativity. Don’t miss the chance to support local youth and find unique Christmas gifts while enjoying the festive atmosphere in the heart of Stockholm.

The Christmas Market at Hovstallet is a charming and unique market in the heart of Stockholm, perfect for a visit during the second weekend of Advent! Here, some 70 of Sweden’s most skilled artisans gather, specializing in traditional techniques such as metalwork, woodworking, and textile crafts. Visitors can also take guided tours of the royal carriages and meet the king’s horses in their stables. In addition, there is a selection of food vendors offering Christmas delicacies.

Skeppsholmsgården Christmas Market

The Skeppsholmsgården Christmas Market offers a unique experience with a maritime and craft theme. Blacksmiths, jewelry makers, and other skilled artisans gather here to create an atmospheric Christmas market on Skeppsholmen. With over 50 exhibitors filling the workshops and courtyard, there is plenty of exciting and unique craftsmanship to discover.
